ILB-MD - Medical Backpack

The PROJECT 7 Integrated Load Bearing Medical Pack (ILB-MD) is a purpose-built medical load carriage system designed for tactical medics, search and rescue personnel, and other first responders who need rapid access to critical supplies. Developed with input from physicians, paramedics, EMTs, and tactical medics, the ILB-MD combines a compact profile with extensive external organization and a configurable internal layout.

Six removable, transparent throw pouches keep medical supplies organized, visible, and ready for immediate distribution, while dedicated external pockets provide rapid access to hemorrhage control equipment, decompression needles, tools, and other frequently used supplies.

Key features include:

• Six removable transparent internal throw pouches with hook-and-loop backing and top-zip access, including four 5.5” x 5.5” x 3” pouches and two 11” x 2.75” x 3” pouches
• 10.5” x 5.75” external hemorrhage control pocket with elastic retention for up to four SOF® Tactical Tourniquets or gauze, plus additional storage for chest seals, surgical sponges, and other supplies
• Two 5.5” x 10” external zippered pockets for hemorrhage control kits, rolled gauze, gloves, and other medical equipment
• Two 3.5” x 6” side pockets with magnetic closures for decompression needles, pens, Cyalume® light sticks, and other essential supplies
• Four side-mounted tool pockets for immediate access to shears, tweezers, and other small tools
• Webless MOLLE/PALS surfaces on the exterior for additional equipment attachment
• Removable shoulder straps with magnetic sternum strap
• Constructed from Squadron and 500D Cordura®
