The NEW PROJECT7 XTERNAL PATROL VEST (XPV) is a revolutionary approach to armoring patrol officers, detectives, K-9s, firefighters and paramedics. The XPV utilizes a four-piece platform and cummerbund design that mitigates the risk of coverage gaps due to misaligned panels, small weight fluctuations, or ill-fitting vests. This ultra wearable design provides greater ballistic coverage without compromising flexibility or movement.
The XPV is available in several front designs including a uniform look, as well as a lower profile tactical look (Webless and Traditional versions only).

- PROJECT7's textured shoulder design provides a soft, natural, and high friction shooting platform unencumbered by buckles, straps, external pads, or overlapping armor
- Patent pending, Three-Piece Cummerbund (3PC) design for operator specific sizing, ideal weight bearing, with broad adjustability, and rotational flexibility for unrestrained movement
- Webless or Traditional MOLLE/PALS load bearing surfaces, or "clean" no MOLLE version
- First-Spear tubes closure systems
